Time to go Digital?

With utility bills on the constant rise, now more than ever is the time to go digital.
Digital amplifiers boast a range of advantages:
  • they are physically smaller being often only a maximum height of 1U
  • they run cooler
  • they are greener for the environment
  • they are physically lighter. The distinct lack of heavy components makes for much lighter weight equipment
  • they run more efficiently. On average, analogue amplifiers are around 50% efficient and digital amplifiers are around 90% efficient
  • they are just as powerful, reaching the same specs as you’re used to but with all the added perks above

It’s Good to Hear Good Things

Over the past few weeks, we have been helping design a portable system for Dunbar Leisure Pool in East Lothian. We then made the equipment rack up and packed it overly securely to ensure it all arrived safely in Scotland.

Upon receipt, we then received a lovely email from our contact saying the below:

Today we paid a visit to Ash Manor Leisure Centre in Ash to investigate reported faults in their portable sound systems… it was no surprise to us that this particular wooden cabinet speaker was not functioning properly with the speaker magnet assembly having broken off completely from the chassis. Along with the wooden cabinet itself being shattered behind the grill, we have deemed this speaker beyond economic repair!
