We’ve recently just added the Adasta PLV ceiling speaker series to our website!
2-way low profile 100v line ceiling speakers, which are available in sizes 5.25″ – 40w, 6.5″ – 50w and 8″ – 60w, with flared baffle and a low profile magnetic grille. The main driver with concentric directional tweeter is operated via a rotary control with 5 x 100v volume tappings and an 8 Ohms option. Compact, durable speaker cabinets designed for multi-purpose sound reinforcement. The sturdy moulded enclosures feature flying points for mounting from suspension wires and a 35mm socket for pole mounting. Deep porting and efficient drivers enable these cabinets to accurately reproduce a balanced and evenly dispersed sound output.
Today we paid a visit to Ash Manor Leisure Centre in Ash to investigate reported faults in their portable sound systems… it was no surprise to us that this particular wooden cabinet speaker was not functioning properly with the speaker magnet assembly having broken off completely from the chassis. Along with the wooden cabinet itself being shattered behind the grill, we have deemed this speaker beyond economic repair!
